10/2 Topic: Customs

Hello, everyone!

I hope you all had a wonderful weekend! :) Last week we spent most of the class time talking about idioms, which means we didn't get any time to talk about cultures and customs! :( So, this week we will discuss the differences and similarities between Japanese and American (and New Zealand!) customs.  Be prepared to analyze the cultural differences between Japan and the West.  Please refer to the previous post for more information. :)

I can't believe it's almost October already!  As we say in English, "Time flies!"  (An idiom, meaning "time moves too fast.")

週末を楽しみましたか。:) 先週イディオムの話の続きで、文化と習慣の話ができませんでした。申し訳ありません。ですから、今週日本とアメリカとニュージーランドの習慣の相似点と相違点についての話をしたいと思います。日本と西洋の文化を解析してみましょう。トピックの情報は、先のポストを参考にしてください。

もう１０月になりましたね。信じられないです。英語でよく言われるように、「時間が飛ぶ」（「時間は速すぎる」という意味のイディオムです）。
