4/22 Topic: Accents
Hello!
I hope you enjoyed last week's class about magic and card tricks. Have you been practicing what you learned?
For this week's class, we will be talking about accents in the English language. There are many accents and dialects in English. The U.S., the U.K., New Zealand, Australia, Canada, Ireland, South Africa, and India all have different accents. In Japan, students learn the standard American accent, but there are many accents across the world. Let's listen to them and think about how they are different!
Announcement: Next week is the start of Golden Week holidays, so there will be no class on 4/29 and 5/6. The next class after 4/22 will be on 5/13. I appreciate your cooperation.

皆さんは先週のマジックや手品についてのクラスを楽しみましたか？習ったマジックを練習しましたか？
今週の授業には、英語のアクセントや方言に取り組みます。英語では色々なアクセントがあります。アメリカとイギリスを始め、ニュージーランド、オーストラリア、カナダ、アイルランド、南アフリカ、インドなど、英語の発音や表現は国により異なっています。日本の生徒が標準的なアメリカのアクセントを学んでいますが、世界中に多くのアクセントがあります。これらのアクセントをよく聞いて、何が違うかを考えてみましょう！

4/15 Topic: Magic Tricks
Hi, everyone!
Did you enjoy last week's Easter eggs? I thought our Easter eggs were very beautiful and colorful.
This week we will be talking about magic tricks. Do you know how to do magic tricks? Do you know any famous magicians (people who do magic)? I have been interested in magic since I was a child, so I will teach you how to do some fun tricks.
If you can, please bring your own deck of cards, so that you can do magic tricks with me!

皆さんは先週のイースターエッグ作りを楽しみましたか？私は、イースターエッグがとても美しくてカラフルだと思いました。
今週、マジック（手品）について話します。皆さんは手品ができますか？有名なマジシャン（手品などをしている人）を知っていますか？私は、子どもの時から手品やマジックに興味を持っていますが、今度はmagic tricksの仕方を皆さんに教えてあげます。
また、マジックを練習するには、ご自身のトランプを持ってきてください！

4/8 Topic: Easter Eggs
Hi, guys!
Sunday was Easter, so this week I'd like to do an Easter activity with everyone! Last year we dyed Easter eggs, so this year I would like to do it again. Please come to the first-floor cooking room instead of our usual second-floor classroom. I will be bringing materials to make the Easter eggs.

昨日はイースターだったので、今週イースターのアクティビティをします。昨年、イースターエッグを染めて作ったんですが、今年もそうします。普段の二階の教室の代わりに、一階の調理実習室へおいで下さい。イースターエッグを作るための道具などを、私は持っていきます。
