Please bring an example of something you collect. For example, if you collect charms, please bring a charm to show the class.

The weather is quite warm here in Urakawa. It's very strange, isn't it? Usually January is very cold, but this year is not so cold.

1/14 Topic: Conversational Words 会話の単語
Hello, everyone! And a belated Happy New Year to you!
It's been a while, hasn't it? I hope you all had a wonderful New Year with your families. :) Did you eat traditional New Year's food?
January 14 will be our first class of the year, so please come. Next week's topic is conversational words. People studying English want to learn how to speak it fluently. But how can you do it? The answer lies in conversational words and phrases. There are many useful English words and phrases you should remember. For example, what does "What's new?" mean? When do you say "well"? Some of the words will be review (we did a casual speech lesson last year), but most will be new. In addition, we will study these words more in depth. To raise your conversational abilities, we will practice many times.
If you have any questions about a specific English phrase or word, please bring it to class so we can discuss it together.

さて、１月１４日は今年の最初の英会話クラスとなります。ぜひ来てください！トピックは会話の単語になります。英語を勉強している人は、英語を流暢に言えたいな、とよく言いますが、どうやって英語をスムーズに話せるようになりますか？その答えは会話の単語です。覚えた方がいい役経つ英語の表現・単語はたくさんあります。例えば、「What's new?」はどういう意味でしょうか？「well」はどんなとき使いますか？いくつかの会話の単語は復習になるかもしれませんが（昨年もカジュアル英語のレッスンを行いました）、ほとんどの単語はみなさんにとって新しいと思います。また、こういう会話の単語をもっと深く学び、そしてみなさんの会話の能力を上げるために何回も練習します。
特定の表現・単語についての質問のある方は、その表現・単語をクラスに持ってきて、一緒に話し合います。

Hello, everyone!
Sorry for the late post. I just returned from ALT training in Sapporo yesterday. How was your weekend?
Today is our LAST CLASS before winter vacation. After today, the next class will be on January 14. You have a long break! But please don't forget your English. :)
Tonight we will talk about Christmas, winter, our plans, etc. While we relax we will also play some games and sing some Christmas songs. It will be a very easy, fun class.

This Thursday is Thanksgiving in the U.S., so I would like to have a Thanksgiving party on Wednesday! I will bring some traditional Thanksgiving food. Please bring some food and/or drinks as well, if you can.

Hello!
It has gotten very cold in Urakawa, hasn't it? I hope you are staying warm and using your heaters.
This week our topic will be songs! What are your favorite songs? Do you enjoy singing/karaoke? Do you listen to Western music?
I will bring some English songs for us to practice. We will listen to the songs, figure out the meaning, and practice singing!
Also, next Thursday (November 27) is Thanksgiving in America, so I would like to have a Thanksgiving party on Wednesday, November 26! Please bring lots of food and drinks. We will discuss details on the 19th.
